Lynda's Story
My name is Lynda Viteri. Five years ago I decided
to leave my job to start a life as a business owner. I was looking
for freedom in many ways:
· Freedom from working for someone else, of course
· Freedom to raise my children by being more involved in their day
instead of just catching up at night after a long work day and 4 hour
commute
· Freedom to use my talents and explore new ones knowing that it would
ultimately benefit my bottom line

As an employee, I had always felt like an entrepreneur
working in a big bureaucracy. September 11, 2001 gave me a wake-up
call and I decided to take a chance. After more than 10 years of working
at the UN, I started a home-based video production company, C & L
Video Services, together with my husband, Carlos (to read Carlos'
story click here). With Carlos' background in video production, editing
and web design and my background in marketing, fundraising, and public
relations, we combined our strengths and have built a successful video
business in a very short time. And it is still growing!
My personal mission is to create a lifestyle that enables me to be free to take advantage of the opportunities that life presents, to experience the fullness and quality of life, to be an example to my children, family and friends and to empower others to do the same.
By owning my own home-based businesses I have made a transition from the stuffy corporate workplace where I traded time for money, had to over-perform to get promoted only years after the fact, and gave away my best ideas to organizations that exploited my talents and resourcefulness. The truth of the matter is that I am grateful for the experience because it helped me to realize my entrepreneurial self.
For a long time I was looking for the right time to join forces with my dad, Bob Schmitz and start a network marketing business. My dad has been extremely successful in business for over 30 years. He has owned 7-Eleven franchises and owned and operated one of the first video rental stores in Long Island, NY and in Stuart, FL. He spent the past 20 years building his network marketing businesses. The key to his success is helping others to become successful too. As a business owner I have had the experience of building a traditional business, one that offers products and services to individuals and organizations. I have also experienced some of the limitations of traditional business where at times it feels like I bought a job and the freedom I dreamed about is just not yet available.
One of the keys to any successful business
is to develop a system that runs the business so that you, the business
owner, can be free to look for opportunities to expand. When my dad
approached me with this network marketing opportunity I was already
in the market to expand my entrepreneurial talent to include a venture
that would help empower others to achieve the dream of business ownership
and eventually, financial and time freedom. Learn

The great thing about this business is that it has all the right ingredients:
· The best products in its industry that are consumable and. they literally sell themselves
· A solid company
· A proven business system that includes training and support in areas that most people feel uncomfortable
· Multiple ways to make money (retail product, fundraising, home parties, residual income through recruiting)
· The use of internet technology as a marketing tool that gets people to come to you
· And most of all, the human touch - a great team of leaders that really care about the success of others.
I am looking for people who desire at least one of the following:
· To earn a few extra dollars to add to their current income
· To start a home-based business on a part-time or full-time basis
· To learn a business system that includes empowering and training a team
